Patrick Sonnenberg is a Data Scientist at Lightbird, specializing in conversational and generative AI since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an NLP Data Scientist Intern at CallMiner, where a project was developed to detect harmful language using a transformer model and leading the Responsible AI initiative. As a Research Assistant at The Partnership for Male Youth, Patrick created a dataset of gender health equity policies and provided inclusive policy recommendations. Patrick's background also includes roles in community engagement and volunteer organizing for various organizations, along with research positions during academic studies at the University of Tennessee and Brandeis University, where Patrick obtained advanced degrees in Computational Linguistics and a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Sociology, and Gender and Sexuality Studies.
