Caroline Shin is an accomplished talent acquisition and human resources professional with extensive experience in scaling organizations and enhancing candidate experiences. Currently serving as VP of People at Underdog Fantasy since January 2022, Caroline oversees talent acquisition, HR business partners, and people programs. Previous roles include Technical Recruiting Lead at The Motley Fool, where partnership with the CTO facilitated improved hiring practices during a period of rapid growth, and Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at Appian Corporation, contributing to the company's expansion from 400 to over 1400 employees leading to a successful IPO in 2017. Caroline's career began at Technalink and included a finance internship with the Albemarle County Finance Department. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia.
