Matt Waters is a seasoned music professional with extensive experience in both performance and education. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Unchained Music since January 2021, Matt has previously founded Hainan Music Productions and held the position of Trombone Professor at Nanhai Conservatory of Music. Performance experience includes roles as a trombonist with Norwegian Cruise Line and as bass trombonist with Sea World Brass Band through APEX Entertainment. Matt has also contributed to educational settings as Band Director at Mater Dei Catholic High School and Assistant Band Director at San Marino School District. A graduate of UCLA with both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Music in Trombone Performance, Matt has additionally served as President of Beta Psi for the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
