Maria Misovicova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in resource mobilization, partnerships, and international trade development within leading United Nations organizations. Currently, as Chief of Resource Mobilization and Partnerships at UN Climate Change since September 2021, Maria negotiates strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including the private sector and various NGOs. Prior to this role, Maria held the position of Chief of Capacity Development and Partnerships at United Nations ESCAP, where responsibilities included donor relations and contract negotiations. Maria's career also features roles as an economist at UNCTAD and various UN economic commissions, focusing on trade facilitation and project management, with several published works on related topics.
