Jeff Cheng began their professional career in 2019 when they joined NUS Students' Science Club as their Vice President (Freshmen Orientation Programmes) and Receiving and Giving (RAG) Director. In 2021, they joined GSK as a GSK VS Conjugate (Non Aseptic) Intern and InstaMedia Labs Pte Ltd as a Social Media Analyst. In 2022, they moved to Umami Meats as a Business Development Executive.

Jeff Cheng is currently enrolled in the National University of Singapore, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. From 2019 to 2021, they were enrolled in the University Town College Programme (UTCP) at Tembusu College. Prior to that, they attended NUS High School of Mathematics & Science from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a NUS High Diploma in Biology, General. In October 2021, they obtained certifications from edX in HarvardX PH125.1x: Data Science: R Basics and HarvardX PH125.2x: Data Science: Visualization.
