Doron brings to Ultima over 20 years of experience in developing high-scale genomic applications. Prior to joining Ultima, Doron served as Vice President of Product Development and Strategy at Foundation Medicine, where he was responsible for the development of innovative clinical assays for tissue and liquid biopsies, which have been used in the treatment of hundreds of thousands of cancer patients. During his career Doron has authored over 50 publications in prestigious scientific journals and is the inventor of over 20 patents or patent applications in the fields of sequencing, microarrays, and oncology biomarkers. Doron earned a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from Israel Institute of Technology, and a BS in Computer Science and Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
