Sam Irons is a seasoned UX researcher with extensive experience in mixed methods research, currently serving as a Senior Mixed Methods UX Researcher at AnswerLab since November 2020. Prior roles include Senior Researcher and Strategist at Jump Associates and Product + Service Innovation at Net Impact, where Sam notably won first place in a national competition for a prototype addressing food waste. Sam has also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Montana State University, managing course delivery and facilitating student learning, and has held positions in design at Olson Kundig Architects and Gensler, focusing on service design and sustainable building practices. Sam holds an MBA in Design Strategy and a Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts and Montana State University, respectively, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design.
