David Freed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering within the medical device industry. Currently serving as Sr. Program Manager at UFP Technologies, Inc. since April 2020, Freed has previously held similar senior roles at CardioFocus, Olympus Surgical - OSTA, and CeQur. With a strong foundation in research and development leadership demonstrated during tenure as Director of R&D at CeQur and VP of Engineering at Accudynamics, Freed's career also includes significant contributions as an R&D Manager at Hologic and Boston Scientific. Freed's technical expertise is backed by a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cornell University, respectively, as well as an MBA in Marketing of Technology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
