Gabriele Gennaro is a Data Scientist at UBS since January 2023 and a member of the exclusive network Nova. As a mentee in the LeadTheFuture Mentorship program, Gabriele is among a select group of Italian students in STEM fields, receiving guidance from high-impact mentors. Previous experience includes roles as an AI Research Engineer at Leonardo, focusing on Applied Artificial Intelligence and High Performance Computing, and a Deep Learning Engineer at Thales Alenia Space, where Gabriele developed a system for object detection for the Mars Sample Return mission. An internship as a Computer Vision Engineer at Efort Europe involved creating a defect recognition system utilizing computer vision algorithms. Gabriele holds a Master's degree in Mechatronic & Artificial Intelligence Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, along with specialized entrepreneurial studies from the School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and an Erasmus program at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
