Jurell Riley

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Jurell Riley, DNP, PMHNP-BC, ACSM-EP, currently serves as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since April 2024 and holds a Captain position in the U.S. Air Force Reserve with the 315 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. Jurell's extensive experience includes roles as a Flight Nurse and Flight Medic within the same squadron, and previous positions as Director of Advanced Practice Providers and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Monarch, as well as Registered Nurse roles in psychiatric settings at Atrium Health and Medical University of South Carolina. Jurell obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree specializing in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina and has an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise from Coastal Carolina University.
