David Monzo is the Founder and Machine Learning Director at Tyris AI since October 2017, focusing on artificial intelligence projects in Industry 4.0. In addition, David co-founded Tyris Software in February 2014, which specializes in computer vision, augmented reality, and cloud computing solutions. David has also been the Founder of Takeafile and worked as a freelance Technology Advisor and European Projects Manager from November 2012 to February 2014. Previously, David served as Technology and Project Manager at Visual Tools and was a researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia from 2008 to 2011. David was also a Visiting Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University in 2008. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Computer Vision from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, earned between 2007 and 2012.
