Karl Westvig serves as the Chief Executive Officer at TymeBank since January 2023, following roles as CEO Designate and Chief Executive of Business Banking. In the same year, Karl founded the Wynberg Old Boys Legacy Fund to establish an endowment for Wynberg Boys Schools. With a rich history in leadership, Karl has been a Fellow at the Aspen Global Leadership Network and the African Leadership Initiative since May 2014. Additionally, Karl chairs the JAG Foundation and has held various leadership positions including Principal at Como Capital, CEO and Chairman at Retail Capital SA, and President of the Wynberg Old Boys Union from 2017 to 2019. Educational qualifications include a BBusSci (Hons) in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Cape Town and a Certificate in Fintech from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
