Evan Wies is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in financial technology, algorithmic trading, and game development. As the Founder of Neomantra since June 2011, Evan has focused on financial technology product development and consulting. Prior to this role, Evan served as Chief Technology Officer at a Hedge Fund from March 2004 to June 2011, specializing in algorithmic trading and risk execution. Earlier positions include Chief Technology Officer at Mindengine, where console video games were developed, and various roles at Immersion Corporation, including Internet Technology Evangelist and Research Engineer, contributing significant advancements in Internet technologies and three-dimensional haptics. Evan began a career in research at the MIT Research Laboratory of Electronics, working on haptic interfaces for immersive virtual environments. Educational credentials include dual Bachelor's degrees and a Master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Brain and Cognitive Science.
