John Baini has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and industries. John is the Co-Founder and CEO of TruePillars Pty Ltd, where they have successfully created Australia's leading marketplace lending technology platform. Prior to this, John worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland as the Managing Director of the Global Restructuring Group, where they managed over $10 billion of distressed debt and developed restructuring plans for clients. John also held the position of Head of Restructuring - Middle East and Senior Director, Middle East Corporate Coverage, where they worked closely with large Middle Eastern corporates, delivering various financial services. In addition, John served as the Director of Corporate Coverage UK, responsible for managing relationships with top FTSE100 and FTSE250 companies. John began their career at the National Australia Bank, where they held roles as an Associate Director in the Large Corporate team and as a Business Banking Officer, building relationships with corporate clients and working with small and medium-sized businesses.

John Baini completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree in Economics from Monash University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996.
