Sarina Shahidpour has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, having worked for various companies in different roles. Sarina started working as a Customer Service Associate at Publix Super Markets in 2016 and later worked as an Academic Tutor at the University of South Carolina in 2018. Sarina also worked as a Teacher Cadet Instructor for the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement from January 2017 to June 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Pharmacy Technician and then as a Pharmacy Intern at Publix Pharmacy from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, they completed their Managed Care Externship at Southern Scripts in 2022 and their Pharmacy Externship at Encompass Health in 2021 and Cannon Pharmacy in 2023.
Sarina has also completed several medical fellowships, including a Population Health and Practice Development PharmD Fellowship at Troy Medicare starting in 2023. Sarina also worked for Atrium Health from 2022 to 2023. During their time at Atrium Health, they worked in different roles, including Solid Organ Transplant, Oncology, and Infectious Diseases. Sarina served as a Carolinas Medical Center Scholar during their time at Atrium Health. Finally, they completed a Pharmacy Internship at Prisma Health, starting in 2020 and ending in 2023.
Sarina Shahidpour earned a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of South Carolina, with a focus on pre-pharmacy studies. Sarina later attended the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained several from various institutions, including a QPR Suicide Prevention Certification from MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA OF SOUTH CAROLINA, a Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification from the American Pharmacists Association, and an Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification from the NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE. Sarina has also obtained several additional certifications related to biomedical research and drug safety from the FDA, CITI Program, and Thermo Fisher Scientific, among others.
