Tim Barker has held various roles throughout their work experience. From 2015 onwards, they have worked at Tripadvisor, starting as the Senior Manager of Customer Operations and progressing to become the Director of Business Operations, with a focus on customer support. Tim has been responsible for managing agent teams, overseeing customer support across multiple geographic locations, and coordinating with offshore vendors. Tim has been instrumental in driving brand initiatives and achieving objectives for customer satisfaction and demand reduction. Prior to Tripadvisor, they worked at Abcam as the Director of Customer Service for the Americas, where they ensured world-class service for customers and managed line operations supervisors. Tim also served as the Manager of Customer Service and a Customer Service Trainer at Abcam. In the early years of their career, Tim worked at HSBC, where they held positions such as Unit Manager of Operations and Assistant Trainer of Operations, demonstrating their expertise in managing teams, providing training, and analyzing operations.

Tim Barker received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Northland International University from 1999 to 2003. Tim then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at Regent University from 2007 to 2010. Concurrently, they also completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Near Eastern Archaeology at Trinity International University from 2008 to 2010. In 2011 and 2012, Tim engaged in additional studies in Finance, General at Harvard Extension School. Tim further enhanced their skills with additional studies in the International Professional Series at Bryant University in 2014. Recently, in May 2022, Tim obtained the certification for Scrum Master from LinkedIn.
