Shayna Faust, OTD, OTR/L, is an experienced occupational therapist currently practicing at Tri-County Therapy and as a PRN occupational therapist at Oak Harbor Healthcare. Between August 2021 and June 2023, Shayna provided occupational therapy services to children aged 7-10 in under-resourced neighborhoods in Charleston, South Carolina, utilizing evidence-based practices and client-centered interventions focused on handwriting and executive functioning. Previous experiences include managing caseloads for adult acute care and outpatient pediatrics during fieldwork at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, as well as volunteering at Pattison's Academy where collaborative efforts supported children with profound disabilities. Shayna earned a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from MUSC College of Health Professions and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston, complementing a diverse background in customer service and education.
