Megan O'Meara has extensive experience in education and youth development, currently serving as a Recruiter, Kids Zone Lead, and Mini Camp Supervisor at the YMCA of Greater Seattle since February 2016. In these roles, Megan has successfully created an inclusive summer camp environment for children aged 3-5 and provided coaching to entry-level staff on effective youth engagement practices. Additionally, Megan worked as an Elementary School Teacher for Lake Washington School District from December 2021 to July 2024 and served as a Transfer Student Mentor and Tutor with the Pipeline Project at the University of Washington between 2018 and 2019, offering volunteer support in public elementary schools throughout Western Washington. Megan holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, Communities, and Organizations from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Western Governors University.
