Wren Cromwell has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career in 2006 at GameStop as a Senior Game Advisor. In 2011, they worked as a Resident Advisor at The University of Memphis. From 2012 to 2013, they took on the role of Escalation Support Coordinator at Enterprise Holdings.
In 2015, Wren joined Gnomon School of Visual Effects as a Teaching Assistant and continued in this role until 2016. They then transitioned to Gadget-Bot Productions as a 3D Artist/Character Artist from 2016 to 2017.
Throughout 2017, Wren worked at Adventure Works as a 3D Generalist, creating environment and character models for interactive media installations and VR attractions. They also had a role at Method Studios as an Asset Generalist, where they created 3D models and shaders for AR/VR games and experiences.
In 2017, Wren began their journey with Volt, initially working as an External Character Art Coordinator at Treyarch until 2019. Subsequently, they became an Associate Artist at Treyarch from 2019 to 2021.
In 2021, Wren joined Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation as an Instructor, where they instructed students in visual effects, games, and animation.
Most recently, Wren returned to Treyarch in 2022 as an Artist I, utilizing their artistic skills in their current role.
Wren Cromwell obtained a Certification in Entertainment Design and Digital Production from Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games + Animation. This educational experience took place from 2014 to 2016, with a major focus on Game and Interactive Media Design. Prior to that, Wren attended The University of Memphis from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology.
