Murray Fournie, CFRE, FAHP, has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the nonprofit sector. Murray most recently served as the VP of Philanthropy & Administrative Operations at Treasure Coast Hospice, where they oversaw fundraising, marketing, facilities, and information technology departments. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Philanthropy and managed all fundraising efforts for Treasure Coast Hospice.

Before joining Treasure Coast Hospice, Fournie worked as the Managing Director at Carter, Advancing Philanthropy Worldwide, providing strategic guidance and leadership development to nonprofit organizations. Murray also served as the Foundation President at Jupiter Medical Center, leading the foundation's fundraising efforts.

Additionally, Fournie has experience working in major gifts and planned giving at Indian River Medical Center and the American Cancer Society. Murray has also held leadership positions at St. Bonaventure University and Eckerd College, where they focused on comprehensive fundraising campaigns.

Murray Fournie, CFRE, FAHP has a comprehensive education history. Murray obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Eckerd College, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Later, Murray pursued further education and completed a Master of Education degree in Institutional Advancement from Vanderbilt University, between 1994 and 1996.

In addition to their academic achievements, Murray Fournie has pursued professional certifications to enhance their expertise. In March 2008, they obtained the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International. Subsequently, in November 2013, they achieved the Fellow of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (FAHP) designation, awarded by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
