Kaelyn Brown has a diverse range of work experience in the education and mentoring field. Kaelyn currently serves as a Program Manager/GEAR UP Site Director at College Now Greater Cleveland, where they oversee the establishment and delivery of the GEAR UP program in a local community in Ohio. Prior to this role, they worked at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio, first as an Academy Programing Cohort Leader and then as an Assistant Director of College and Career Success. In these positions, they supported scholars in navigating post-secondary pathways and coordinated college scholarship processes. Previously, they worked at City Year as a Team Leader, where they coached a team of corps members and facilitated team meetings and one-on-one supervision meetings. Before that, they served as a First Year Americorp member at City Year, primarily stationed in a second-grade classroom. Kaelyn'searlier experiences include being a Mentor at Ohio University Women to Women: Empowerment through mentorship and a Resident Assistant at Ohio University. Kaelyn also has experience as an Assistant Manager at Dairy Queen and as a Communication Resource Center Peer Tutor at Ohio University. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University.
