Jon McCombs has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jon started their career at Delta Air Lines in 1982 as a Senior Programmer and worked there until 1994. In 1995, they joined Travelport as a Lead Systems Software Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for implementing and supporting Service-Oriented Architecture products used by Travelport GDS, Delta Air Lines, and other companies within and outside of the travel industry. Jon has experience working with various platforms and operating systems including IBM's mainframe Transaction Processing Facility, Linux, AIX, Sun Solaris, and HP Unix.

Jon McCombs obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Electronic Data Processing & Administrative Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Jon completed their education in the years 1980 to 1982.
