Konrad Zych, DipWSET, is a seasoned bioinformatician currently holding senior positions at Roche and Transition Technologies MS, with additional entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of Palmaby. With a strong background in bioinformatics, Zych's prior roles include senior bioinformatician at Lifebit and Ardigen, as well as various positions at Clinical Microbiomics, EMBL, and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Zych's academic journey culminated in a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Groningen, complemented by MSc and BSc degrees in Biotechnology from Jagiellonian University. Additionally, Zych has pursued wine education, earning the WSET Diploma and the Weinakademiker designation. Research expertise includes functional genomics and machine learning applications in bioinformatics.
