Kathryn Lowen is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in leading engineering teams across various organizations. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Trainline since August 2023, Kathryn previously held the same role at Improbable from December 2021 to July 2023 and Transport for London from September 2015 to December 2021, where roles included Senior Software Developer and Software Developer. Kathryn's early career included a position as a System Support Centre Intern at Airbus Helicopters, focusing on ADA83 code implementation and Java programming. Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc)(Hons) in Computer Games Programming from the University of Staffordshire and completed A-Levels in Maths, IT, and Art at West Somerset Community College Sixth Form.
