Mahira K. is an active contributor in the tech community with a focus on open source initiatives and empowering underrepresented groups. Currently serving as an Open Source Contributor at GirlScript Summer of Code and a Tracked Fellow at Tracked Ltd, Mahira engages in analytics and data modeling. As a Global Ambassador for WomenTech Network, Mahira fosters inclusivity in technology while also facilitating workshops for the #IamRemarkable initiative to encourage women to celebrate their achievements. Membership in Google’s Women Techmakers program and contributions to Google Crowdsource further highlight Mahira's commitment to supporting women in technology and enhancing various Google services. Previous roles include campus ambassador positions at Entrepreneurship Cell IIT Hyderabad, Kshitij IIT Kharagpur, and The Sparks Foundation, complemented by participation in the Mood Indigo festival as an Indigo Squad member. Mahira has also pursued education in programming for data science through Udacity.
