Tish Carter serves as the Community and Cultural Arts Manager for the Town of Flower Mound since December 2021. With extensive experience in arts management and education, Tish Carter has worked as an Arts Management and Arts Education Specialist as an independent professional since August 2008. Previous roles include Professional Lecturer/Adjunct Professor at George Washington University from August 1992 to December 2016, Founding Director of New Moves, Inc. from September 1992 to December 2008, as well as Director and Department Head of Interdisciplinary Arts, Dance and Cultural Studies Program at Sidwell Friends School from August 1992 to August 2008. Tish Carter holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
