Alexis Ramirez is a skilled graphic designer with experience in various roles, currently serving at the Cook County Assessor's Office since April 2024. Previously, Alexis worked as a Creative Intern at Rakuten Advertising, where support was provided in designing HTML email newsletters for retail clients. As Editor-in-Chief at Illio Yearbook, leadership was demonstrated through managing editorial staff and collaborating on design systems. Alexis also contributed to The Daily Illini as both a Staff Writer and Staff Designer, producing content and visual elements for the culture and entertainment section. Additional experience includes leadership roles in the AIGA UIUC Student Group and an internship at The Field Museum, where training materials were virtualized. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a high school diploma from Young Magnet High School.
