Victor Cantu serves as the Geographic Information Systems Coordinator for the Town of Florence since September 2018, where responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and overseeing the development and maintenance of the town's GIS and permit systems. Cantu also designs specialized GIS applications for departmental use and manages training for staff on system operation. Prior to this role, Cantu spent over 15 years at Pinal County Information Technology, first as a GIS Analyst and later as a GIS Technician, providing GIS services, project management, and extensive data management. Cantu holds educational qualifications from Central Arizona College from 2000 to 2001.
