Kimberly Schulte, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Kimberly began their career at The Filene's Department Store as an Area Sales Manager and later worked at Toys"R"Us as a District Recruiter, District Trainer, and Store Manager. At Kohl's Department Stores, they served as a Personnel/Operations Manager, responsible for recruitment, selection, and hiring. Kimberly then transitioned to Staples as a Store Manager, overseeing sales, customer service, and human resources.

Following their role at Staples, Kimberly worked at NEJ as an Operations Special Project Manager, leading various projects and implementing new policies and procedures. Kimberly then joined Sears Outlet Stores, LLC as a General Manager, responsible for profit and loss, sales, customer service, and human resources.

Kimberly's career in the education sector began at Stamford Public Schools as a Human Resource Generalist, managing recruitment, advising administrators on policy and procedures, and handling employee complaints. Kimberly then moved to Hartford Public Schools as a Director of Human Resources, overseeing staffing, professional development, and recruitment. Currently, they serve as the Director of Human Resources at Torrington Public Schools, collaborating with the district leadership team and being a trusted advisor on various employment matters.

Kimberly Schulte, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a diverse educational background. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Human Resources from Walden University in 2008. In 2012, they completed their Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Secondary Education from Kaplan University. Schulte furthered their education in 2016 by obtaining a 6th Year Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Southern Connecticut State University.

Additionally, Schulte holds various certifications in the field. In 2011, they obtained the School Business Administrator endorsement from the Connecticut State Department of Education. Kimberly became a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in 2015, and in 2020, they earned the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI. Continuing their professional development, they obtained an Intermediate Administration endorsement in 2017 from the Connecticut State Department of Education.

Furthermore, Schulte has pursued additional certifications related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Kimberly obtained the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021.
