Gaurav Banka, MD, currently serves as the Director of Echo Lab and Director of Cardiac Imaging at Torrance Memorial Medical Center since September 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Resident and Cardiology Fellow at UCLA Health System from June 2011 to June 2017, as well as a Research Coordinator position at Stanford Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation. Gaurav Banka also held positions with the Clinton Foundation as State Program Manager and National Pediatric HIV/AIDS Initiative Analyst, MCAT Instructor at Kaplan, and Research Analyst at Harvard University, where research focused on global health and pediatric obesity. Educational credentials include a Medical Degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a certificate in Health Policy from Harvard University.
