Rod Bacon has a diverse work experience that includes executive coaching, consulting, and leadership roles. Rod is currently the CEO of Torchiana, a management consulting firm that specializes in career management and leadership development. Rod also founded The Advantage Group, an international executive coaching and consulting practice. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Leadership Coach at KerrHill and as a Senior Consultant/Executive Coach at SGR Partners. Rod has also been involved in pro bono consulting for The Man Kind Project and has held leadership positions at Media Publisher Inc. (Qumu), Inktomi, eScene Networks, Oasys Networks, and ITC Technical Consulting.
Rod Bacon earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, from 1984 to 1986. Later, from 1993 to 1995, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Personal, Organizational, and Intercultural Communications from San Francisco State University. Additionally, they received a Certification in Stake-Holder Centered Executive Coaching from Marshal Goldsmith Coaching, although the specific years of this certification are not provided.
