Xiaoyu Liang is a Scientist II in Genomics Technology Development at Tome Biosciences since March 2023, specializing in the development of NGS assays and high-throughput specificity assays for gene editing advancements. Previously, Xiaoyu held the position of Scientist I in the same field at Southern Methodist University from January 2017 to December 2022, where important regulatory functions of the RNA binding protein MEC-8 were identified through innovative methodologies. Xiaoyu's academic background includes a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Southern Methodist University, and both an MS in Biology and a BE in Bioengineering from Northeastern University (CN).
