Angela Amaro is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and management within the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Controller at Tokio Marine Highland since September 2021, Angela previously held the same title at Tave Risk Management from October 2018 to August 2021. Prior to these roles, Angela was the First Vice President at Mesirow Insurance Services, Inc., where responsibilities included managing a 14-member insurance accounting team and overseeing process improvement. Angela's career began at Near North Insurance Brokerage, Inc., progressing to positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President at both JP Flanagan and Hub International. Angela earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University, Illinois, between 2012 and 2015.
