Igor Kuznetsov has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Igor started as a Software Developer at Pravo.ru and then moved to Lead Software Developer. In 2012, they joined Undev.ru as a Team Lead and Ruby Developer. Igor was responsible for interviewing developers, sharing knowledge between teammates, developing user notification systems, business logic development, building the architecture of mailing services, optimizing Sphinx indexes and queries, creating an internal project from scratch, and managing a distributed team of 4 developers. In 2014, they became Co-founder at BrandObserver and Product Development Manager at Samara State Medical University. Igor then joined Setka in 2016 as Co-founder & Chief Technical Officer. In this role, they increased the team from 6 to 12 software developers in 6 months, managed remote and inhouse teams, and moved infrastructure from Softlayer to Hetzner in 3 weeks without downtime, decreasing TCO by $23 000 per year. In 2021, they became Director of Software Engineering at Tiny.

Igor Kuznetsov has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Samara State Aerospace University, which they obtained in 2010. Igor then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the same university in 2012. In 2020, they obtained certificates from Coursera for Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow and Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow. In 2021, they obtained certificates from LinkedIn for How to Manage Feeling Overwhelmed, Managing Stress, Managing Teams, Building Resilience, Mastering Self-Motivation, and Cultivating a Growth Mindset.
