Adam Cadien is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in robotics and autonomous technologies. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Blue River Technology since August 2021, Adam oversees the software organization responsible for the innovative See & Spray Technology, which significantly reduces chemical waste on commodity crop farms. Previously, Adam held the position of Head of Robotics at FarmWise, managing the Robotics Software team and driving the software product roadmap. Prior roles include Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at Cruise Automation, Research Engineer at Apple, and Graduate Researcher and Lecturer at George Mason University. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics and a Master's Degree in Computational Materials Science from George Mason University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics & Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.
