Nicholas Erlacker started their work experience in 2008 as an Integrated Training Area Manager at the Missouri Army National Guard. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a GIS Technician at the City of Jefferson before transitioning to the role of GIS Specialist until 2016. In 2016, Nicholas joined Timmons Group as a GIS Analyst.

Nicholas Erlacker obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they attended from 2003 to 2008. Nicholas then pursued their education at Penn State University, where they completed a Post-bachelorette degree in Geographic Informational Systems from 2010 to 2011. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Nicholas earned a Master of Software Engineering degree with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering from Penn State University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance in May 2019, Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) from the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI) in March 2019, and Enterprise Geodata Management - Professional 10.5 from Esri in February 2019.
