Emily McCarty has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Emily started their career in 2005 at The Timken Company, where they held various roles such as Design Engineer, Sr Project Engineer, and Team Leader. In 2014, they joined TimkenSteel Corporation and continued to advance their career. Emily worked as a Team Leader before moving up to Unit Manager positions in Plant Electrical & Controls Engineering. Emily then transitioned to the role of Project Engineering Specialist before becoming a Sr. Project Engineering Specialist. Most recently, they have been serving as an Electrical Project Engineering Manager. Emily McCarty's work experience demonstrates their expertise in electrical engineering and leadership roles.

Emily McCarty, MBA pursued their education with a focus on business administration and electrical engineering. Emily earned their Masters in Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, spanning the period from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Emily McCarty has also obtained a certification in SafeLead from SafeStart International in April 2023.
