Doug Smith is an experienced professional in the ticketing and live event industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Business Operations at Ticketmaster since January 2013, following a tenure as Vice President of Client Services within the same company. Prior to Ticketmaster, Doug held the position of Vice President of Live Nation Ticketing from 2007 to January 2013. Doug's career began with roles in ticketing management, starting as Ticket Services Manager at Leeds United from 1998 to 2003, and later as Head of Ticketing at Manchester City Football Club from 2003 to 2007. Earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Box Office Manager at Sheffield Arena with Spectacor Management Group from 1994 to 1998. Doug holds an LLB in Law from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1987 and 1990.
