Jan Wilmans is an accomplished C++ Coach and Software Architect with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Since January 2019, Jan has held leadership roles at Vimec Applied Vision Technology and KESTREL Vision, focusing on glass inspection and monitoring solutions as well as data-driven control and inspection for rigid packaging manufacturing. As the founder of debug.vision, Jan developed a tool for software engineers to better understand debug information, while also contributing to CopperSpice and CMake projects. Previous experience includes significant roles at Kind Technologies, PROMEXX Technical Automation B.V., Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Myquest, where Jan specialized in industrial automation, embedded software, and hardware development. Jan holds a degree in Information Technology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
