John Sindayihebura currently serves as Engineering Manager at Thungela Resources, having been promoted after three years as Section Engineer managing both Surface and Underground operations. Prior to this role, John worked as an Engineer at Evander Gold Mines Ltd. from January 2009 to July 2023 and as a Project Engineer at Namakwa Sands Ltd. from January 2007 to July 2008. John holds a B-Tech (Cum Laude) degree in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and a Higher Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pretoria.
