David Boctor is an accomplished data engineering professional with extensive experience in building and optimizing data platforms and pipelines. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Thumbtack since December 2020, David has previously held significant roles as a Principal Data Engineer at Autodesk, focusing on AWS data solutions, and at Lumos Labs, where David advanced data pipeline developments using technologies like Kafka and Spark. Earlier career milestones include serving as a Senior Visual Database Engineer at Aechelon Technology, enhancing querying performance for military simulations, and holding senior technical positions at Posit Science, where David contributed to the development of data infrastructures and user performance reporting.
