Dakota Fried has a strong background in analytics and consulting. They began their career in 2011 as an Operations Technology Intern at ArcelorMittal. In 2012, they worked as a Supply Chain Intern at The Dow Chemical Company. Dakota then joined IBM in 2013 as a Strategy and Analytics Consultant and later progressed to the role of Senior Consultant in the Advanced Analytics Center of Competency. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Managing Consultant in IBM's Advanced Analytics Practice. Dakota's most recent employment has been with IPSY, where they have held various leadership positions in analytics, including Data Analyst, Analytics Manager, Senior Manager, and currently as the Director of Analytics since 2022.

Dakota Fried earned a Master's Degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in 2013. Prior to that, Dakota obtained a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in 2012. Dakota completed high school at Suffern High School in 2008.
