Jan Engkasser is an experienced professional in community engagement and partnership development, currently serving as the Director of National and Community Partnerships and Director of Member Engagement Strategies at Thrivent since 2012. Prior roles at Thrivent included Manager of Community Engagement and Manager of Lutheran Engagement. Prior to this, Jan held positions at Lutheran Brotherhood as Agency Resource Manager and served as Pastor at St. Michael Lutheran Church. Jan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religion from Muhlenberg College, a Master of Divinity in Theology from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, and a Project Management certification from Lehigh University College of Business.
