Mahmoud Katamesh is an experienced outage manager currently employed at Thomassen Energy BV since November 2022, overseeing major inspections, rotor exchanges, and full repairs of auxiliary equipment at CMOO in Laakerchen, Austria. Prior to this role, Mahmoud served as the rotating equipment lead at Taweelah Asia Power Company (TAPCO) from March 2010 to November 2022, where responsibilities included managing major inspections on Siemens 4000F and Frame 9 GE turbines, along with leading rotating mechanical teams and contractor support. Mahmoud's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Power Engineering from Alexandria University and further training at The Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group and Bently Nevada training center in Florence.
