Dominic Counahan

Executive Brand Thinker at Thinkerbell

Dominic Counahan is a seasoned professional in brand strategy, currently serving as a Strategy Partner at dentsu international since October 2022. With extensive experience at Thinkerbell since May 2018, Dominic has held various titles including Executive Brand Thinker, Head Thinker (Brand), and Lead Thinker (Brand). Previous roles include Senior Brand Strategist at Ogilvy from March 2017 to May 2018, and Brand Strategist at Cummins&Partners from January 2015 to March 2017. Dominic began a career in the industry through the prestigious 2014 graduate program at Clemenger BBDO, collaborating across multiple agencies. Educational achievements include a Master’s and Honours in Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Creative Writing from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Additionally, Dominic completed the EFF Test in Effectiveness Measurement from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising in 2017.
