Dominique Malata Perez is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as Corporate Counsel at The Wine Group since July 2019, Dominique is responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and advising senior leadership on various legal matters, including marketing regulations and intellectual property. Previous roles include Solo Corporate Attorney at InCloudCounsel, Corporate Associate positions at Covington & Burling LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP, and a Litigation Associate role at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Dominique also has a strong foundation in legal research and advocacy, having served as a Judicial Extern and a Client Advocate in asylum representation. Dominique holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
