Vanessa Bryant is an accomplished immunologist with extensive experience in research and clinical science. Currently serving as the Head of the Immunogenetics Research Laboratory at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research since 2019, Vanessa also holds a position as a Clinical Scientist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Prior roles include Senior Research Officer at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute from 2013 to 2016 and PhD Student at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Centenary Institute, focusing on Human B cell Immunology under the guidance of Professor Stuart Tangye. Vanessa Bryant earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology & Medical Research from The Rockefeller University (2007-2012) and holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Psychology from The University of Queensland.
