Sara Schwanke Khilji is a seasoned medical professional and educator with extensive experience in global health and academic leadership. Currently, Sara serves as a Research Associate at the Botswana Harvard Health Partnership and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Botswana. In addition, Sara holds the position of Associate Professor of Medicine and Site Director for Medicine within the Botswana Global Health Program at Oregon Health & Science University, where previous roles included Assistant Professor, Clinical Hospitalist, and various directorial positions in education. Sara's earlier experience includes roles at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine, and Massachusetts General Hospital, among others. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German Studies from Williams College.
