Ewa Michalak is currently serving as a Senior Business Development Associate at WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research) since March 2024, focusing on the commercialization of research and technology transfer activities within the Partnerships & Ventures team. Prior to this role, Ewa held positions including Commercialisation Project Manager at Burnet Institute and Translational Research Coordinator at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, among others. Ewa's extensive experience in research and industry alliances is further supported by a background that includes roles as a Senior Research Officer and postdoctoral positions at leading research institutes, including multiple tenures at WEHI and The Netherlands Cancer Institute. Ewa holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry and an Honours degree from The University of Western Australia.
