Oscar Castellani

Oscar Castellani has an extensive work experience in the field of food science and research. Oscar is currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at The VERY Food Company since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Program Director at Cap Aliment - Région Pays de la Loire from December 2015 to March 2021. Before that, they held the position of Senior Scientist at Nestlé from October 2011 to December 2015. Oscar'scareer started at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research where they worked as a Scientist from an unspecified date in 2006 to 2011.

Oscar Castellani pursued their education in a chronological order. Oscar obtained a Bachelor's degree from Colegio Nacional de La Plata, affiliated with Universidad Nacional de La Plata, from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they enrolled in Universidad Nacional de La Plata again, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Science between 1996 and 2000. Recently, in 2021 and 2022, Oscar completed a Certificate in Managerial Studies with a focus on integrating non-financial factors in business models for positive environmental and social impact from Audencia Executive Education.
